The history of Golf Sainte Baume, a golf club that continues to grow
Golf Sainte Baume was one of the first golf courses to be created by the Resonance Golf Collection network.
The first ground works started at the end of 1986, supervised by the architect Robert Berthet. The driving range was opened in spring 1988. The first 9 holes and the clubhouse were made available to players in July of the same year. Finally, the rest of the course became operational in November 1988.
Since it opened, a lot of additional work has been done to the golf course to improve the quality of the services it offers.
In terms of the golf course, work has been done to improve its drainage system, tree planting, nature areas, lakes and fountains, pathways and irrigation system. A new compact course will become operational in 2021.
The clubhouse was reorganised in 2019, with the reception being moved to the ground floor previously used by the maintenance team. The locker rooms were also refurbished at this time and the restaurant was extended to take up nearly all of the first floor.
